STATE CAPITOL BOUND

Hello Everyone,

I look forward to attending our state's capitol on 04/04/2023 with the Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (a nonprofit collaborative partner).

We will meet with legislators regarding some of the House Bills currently under review regarding "invisible" caregiver's assistance. This a strategic and exciting time for grandparents raising our seconds gens and for those who are concerned about the future of their grandchildren in a world that is rapidly changing. In the very near future many of our grandchildren will be forced to accept these changes as the "norm". I say ABSOLUTLEY NOT!. We must continue to fight the good fight of faith and get involved with organizations such as this one who is pushing the pendulum away from such propaganda designed to destroy our posterity. Right is right and wrong is wrong and there is no middle ground.

In the mean time we continue to seek funding to provide respite centers for caregivers who are in desperate need of recovery from the stresses of caring for second gens x, y and z. I work a full time job in addition to raising my grandchildren. I am also holding up the standard along with my capable Team for caregivers and the children we care for so that we are not forgotten in the chaos of today's agendas.

Please let others know how they can join the mission and movement toward a better life for all of us. Don't ignore the door of opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many who desperately need a Village. Keep us in thought and in prayer on April 4, 2023.
